Ideal candidates hold a nursing degree with Texas licensure; BSN is preferred, with a path for degree completion if not yet BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Texas licensure.
• BSN preferred; Master’s preferred for advancement.
• If not BSN, must enroll and obtain degree within 24 months of hire; Bridge programs accepted.

Responsibilities

• Support learning needs of staff and patients by providing opportunities for acquisition of knowledge, skills and behaviors.
• Coordinate orientation, continuing education, inservices, coaching and consulting.
• Promote ongoing education as an asset for recruitment and retention within the organization.
