Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking a Staff Development Nurse - Education Training Director to lead clinical staff development across departments. The role focuses on creating, implementing, and evaluating training programs to ensure competency and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate orientation, ongoing education, and performance improvement initiatives while maintaining records of staff education and ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• State-licensed registered nurse with 3+ years of related experience.
• MDS knowledge, care plans, and chart auditing experience.
• Strong oral and written communication and teaching skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and implements clinical training for all staff.
• Develops new training tools, policies, and procedures.
• Delivers clinical modules during orientation for all employees.
• Plans and presents in-services for all departments.
• Coordinates and maintains staff in-servicing records.
• Manages educational equipment and resources.
• Assists in orientation and training as assigned.
• Assesses learning needs via observation and assessments.
• Measures impact of programs on staff performance.
• Participates in in-service training and performance improvement committees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
