Job summary

Advocate Trinity Hospital - Clinical Education is seeking an experienced Nursing Professional Development leader to oversee Magnet readiness and education programs. You will coordinate education strategies, mentor staff and drive national certification goals in alignment with the organization’s Magnet plan.

The role requires BSN and ANCC certification, with 5–7 years clinical experience and 3–5 years management experience within a Magnet environment.

Qualifications

• BSN required with 5–7 years of clinical experience.
• National ANCC certification required.
• 3–5 years of management experience.
• Experience in a Magnet organization with Magnet writing/preparation involvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ongoing educational needs assessment and designs house-wide education plans aligned with nursing education strategy.
• Collaborates with Nursing Director, CNO and nurse leaders to support professional development and certification.
• Supports Magnet program standards and readiness activities across sites.
• Mentors and advises team members pursuing clinical education professional development.
• Leads ANCC Magnet application, designation and re-designation readiness and governance.
