Job summary
Oklahoma City University’s Kramer School of Nursing seeks a Senior Associate Dean and Nurse Administrator to lead nursing education programs, ensure accreditation compliance, and align strategic direction with the Dean and college leadership.
This role oversees budgeting, faculty development, and recruitment, while guiding program quality, student advising, and adherence to Oklahoma Board of Nursing rules and accreditation standards. Collaboration with university leadership is essential.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in nursing or related field with MSN required.
- Minimum of five years full-time RN clinical practice prior to faculty work.
- Five+ years of teaching at baccalaureate level or higher in nursing.
- Knowledge of ACEN/CCNE accreditation standards and OK Board of Nursing requirements.
- Current Oklahoma RN license or eligibility before start date.
Responsibilities
- Oversee academic programs and ensure compliance with accreditation bodies.
- Administer budgeting and fiscal operations for the School.
- Direct faculty development, evaluation, and workload policies.
- Coordinate accreditation activities with ACEN/CCNE and OK Board of Nursing.
- Advise nursing students regarding academic programs.
- Collaborate with Dean and university leadership on strategic planning.
