Qualifications

• 1 year or more experience serving as faculty member in a professional nursing education program and/or higher education administration experience.
• 1 year or more management experience within the nursing field.
• 2 years or more full-time or equivalent direct care experience as a practicing nurse.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point and Teams.
• Demonstrated track-record of organizational/team/individual development.
• Proven ability to manage day-to-day business operations with discipline and a keen focus on details.

Responsibilities

• Nursing Program Governance 51%: Support the mission and outcomes of the nursing unit; conduct observations, coaching, and evaluation of faculty and staff; onboard new faculty; organize and schedule work assignments; attend meetings; maintain professional standards; facilitate positive communication with students, faculty, staff, and clinical partners; uphold accreditation policies and timely information requests.
• Faculty 19%: May teach and evaluate student learning; track NCLEX pass rates, program completion, and graduation metrics; develop action plans to address standards; assess clinical site satisfaction; contribute to curriculum delivery and accreditation goals.
• Student Success 10%: Provide advising to nursing students; represent the university and School of Nursing to stakeholders; foster high student engagement and community building.
