Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Department of Education license.
• Experience in OPWDD certified homes or similar settings preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing care and coordinate with medical staff per treatment plans.
• Evaluate residents' nursing needs periodically under supervision of Nursing Manager and QIDP.
• Supervise medication administration practicum and ensure proper disposal of outdated drugs.
• Maintain inventory standards for medicines and supplies.
• Provide information to residents and families about health care and self-care.
