Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead nursing operations on a busy unit. The RN will coordinate, delegate, and communicate with staff and physicians, ensuring safe patient care and efficient throughput.

We seek a BSN-preferred RN with 2 years of staff nurse experience, strong clinical skills, and CPR certification. The role offers full-time hours, rotating shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing, BSN preferred.
Two years experience as a Staff Nurse.
Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator coordinates and delegates clinical and operational activities on the unit.
Acts as a resource to nursing and medical staff and collaborates with admitting, Bed Coordinator and Supervisor for patient placement.
Makes rounds to monitor patient condition and facilitates timely discharge planning with physicians.
Manages bed control, staffing assignments, and unit coverage based on census and acuity.
Participates in nursing committees to drive patient throughput and quality improvements.
Oversees orientation and feedback for agency personnel; ensures appropriate scope of practice on the unit.
