Job Summary

The Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family centered care. The RN has the responsibility and authority to request and utilize resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost-effective patient care.

RN Specialties Additional Requirements: (ED, OR, PACU, Cardiac Rehab, First Assist OR, ICU, Med Surge, Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery, Pre-Op Eval, Radiology)

  • ED: BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
  • OR: Proficiency in hospital software; BLS required; minimum 3 years OR nursing experience; circulating and scrub experience; call required.
  • First Assist OR: Circulating and scrub experience; RNFA certification; call required; minimum 3 years OR nursing experience.
  • PACU: Minimum 3 years critical care; ACLS and PALS required; PACU experience preferred.
  • ICU: ACLS required.
  • Cardiac Rehab: Experience in cardiac care; BLS, ACLS; certification preferred.
  • Med Surg: BLS/ACLS; 2+ years experience preferred.
  • Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery: BLS, PALS; ENPC preferred; minimum 2 years experience.
  • Pre-Op Eval: Two years critical care experience.
  • Radiology: 3 years med-surg; critical care experience; BLS, ACLS required.
