The role collaborates with administrative staff, nursing, physicians and care teams to support professional nursing standards and compliance; RN licensure is required with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in PA or NJ
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Licensure required within 5 years of hiring

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates clinical expertise and serves as a clinical resource to staff.
• Assumes responsibility for daily operations: planning, organizing and supervising care to assure patient safety and quality.
• Selects, motivates, and retains staff; initiates formal recognition plan.
• Facilitates department staff meetings and trainings; participates in development; serves on councils.
• Leads performance improvement initiatives related to Quality, Safety and Patient Experience.
• Promotes an environment that fosters inquiry, education programs, and evidence-based practice; reviews staff performance and conducts annual evaluations.
• Acts as liaison with Clinical Risk Management and participates in event reviews and resolution of complaints.
• Maintains effective communication with patients, families, multidisciplinary team, and management to resolve problems.
• Maintains departmental records for administrative and regulatory purposes
