Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a Nursing Assistant at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois. You will assist licensed nurses with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, mobility, and safety tasks, while following care plans and infection prevention practices.

This role requires GED/HSED or high school diploma, BLS within 45 days, and no prior experience required. You will work 36 hours per week with alternating weekends and holidays; benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Record vital signs, I&O, daily weights, and other data.
• Document accurately in EMR.
• Support admission through discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Maintain nursing area stock and cleanliness; assist with transport.
