Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and in collaboration with the Patient Care Team, Nursing Assistants assist with the direct day-to-day care of patients and families. They perform various non-patient care duties, ensure positive interactions with patients, families, and visitors, and provide age-specific care for adults, geriatrics, and adolescents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent experience; or will provide on-the-job education and training—basic Life Support certification or equivalent within the introductory period.
• Preferred: One-year experience in an acute care setting.
