Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a Resident Aide-Nurse Aide Trainee to complete classroom and clinical training to pass the NYS Nurse Aide Training test and become a Certified Nurse Aide. You will support nursing staff, uphold care standards, and assist with resident care within the Nursing Department.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) and at least 1 year of long-term care experience. Training, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year previous long term care experience.

Responsabilités

• Support the Nursing Home and Nursing Department as a team member.
• Assist in maintaining care standards and documentation.
• Carry out tasks per admission and care plans; report changes to the charge nurse.
• Participate in in-service education and staff meetings as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in transporting residents and supporting other staff as needed.
