Job summary

Birchaven Village is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to support licensed staff by delivering direct resident care and assisting with daily living activities under supervision. The role emphasizes safety, accurate identification of changes in resident conditions, and clear communication with nursing and inventory teams.

Responsibilities include patient care, room prep, restocking supplies, and adherence to organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Certificate of NATCEP (75 hours).
• Active Ohio STNA registry within 4 months of hire.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and room preparation as directed by nursing staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill to care for residents’ needs and report changes.
• Communicate needs to inventory personnel to restock supplies for daily care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Exhibit service excellence and uphold mission and resident rights.
• Comply with policies and regulatory requirements.
