Job summary

Birchaven Village is seeking a Nurse Aide to support licensed staff by providing direct resident care under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with personal needs, comfort, and safety, and preparing rooms as directed by nursing staff.

The ideal candidate will have an active State Tested Nurse Aide registry, be at least 16 years old, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. This position includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Active registry as a State Tested Nurse Aide with the State of Ohio.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide care appropriate to aging residents’ needs.
• Ability to assess data reflecting resident status.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and room preparation as directed by nursing staff.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill to identify changes in resident condition.
• Communicate needs to inventory personnel to restock supplies.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Display service excellence and uphold mission, vision, and resident rights.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
