Position Summary Information
The purpose of this position is to conduct classroom and clinical training of nurse aide students leading up to certification. This is accomplished by supervising students in a clinical setting at an assigned local long-term care nursing facility, maintaining required student records including attendance, grading, student progress, and skills training.
The Nurse Aide Instructor works under the general direction of the program director. The Nurse Aide Instructor confers with the program director or navigator regarding attendance, grading, student progress, clinical site coordination, state licensing examination scheduling, and other pertinent information essential to the nurse aide training program.
