J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, part of the Virginia Community College System, seeks an Assistant Coordinator and Instructor for the Nurse Aide Program.

This 12-month administrative faculty role coordinates non-credit workforce and credential training across Central Virginia. The successful candidate will develop and update curriculum, mentor adjunct instructors, and deliver instruction in classroom, lab, clinical, and online settings at Reynolds and partner sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing and RN license in Virginia.
• Two years of RN experience within the previous five years; at least one year in direct client care or supervisory long-term care.
• Knowledge of nurse aide training and program development for entry to mid-level positions.
• Knowledge of adult training methods, curriculum design, and evaluation methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver non-credit workforce and certification training programs.
• Establish, maintain, and improve the Nurse Aide Education Program and related healthcare training.
• Provide classroom, laboratory, clinical, and online instruction at Reynolds and partner sites.
• Mentor adjunct instructors to ensure instructional quality and program effectiveness.
