J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College is seeking an Assistant Coordinator and Instructor for the Nurse Aide Program in Chesterfield, VA.

This full-time role coordinates and delivers non-credit workforce and certification training to prepare students for entry- to mid-level healthcare careers. The position requires curriculum development expertise, RN licensure in Virginia, and experience with long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Virginia or multistate license.
• Two years of RN experience within the last five years and at least one year in long-term care.
• Knowledge of nurse aide training and development for entry to mid-level positions.
• Knowledge of adult training methods, curriculum design and evaluation.
• Strong written and oral communication with diverse populations.
• Experience presenting to employers and workforce partners.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain records.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver non-credit workforce and certification training programs.
• Establish, maintain, and improve the Nurse Aide Education Program and related healthcare training programs.
• Provide classroom, laboratory, clinical, and online instruction at Reynolds and partner sites.
• Mentor, coordinate, and evaluate adjunct instructors to ensure instructional quality.
