J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College seeks an Assistant Coordinator/Instructor for the Construction & Transportation Trades program to co-coordinate and deliver non-credit workforce and certification training across Reynolds and Brightpoint locations.

The role involves teaching in laboratories, classrooms, and online settings, and ensuring programs align with CCWA goals. The successful candidate will coordinate curriculum, support employer partnerships, and pursue NCCER/VDOT certification

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in construction trades industry.
• At least 1 year supervisory/instructional experience in construction trades or highway construction.
• NCCER or VDOT certifications required prior to teaching or proctoring exams.

Responsabilidades

• Co-coordinate and deliver non-credit workforce and certification training programs.
• Teach in trades laboratory, classroom, and online settings at Reynolds and Brightpoint locations.
• Establish and improve Construction Trades education programs related to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, heavy equipment, and roadway construction.

Educación

Bachelor's degree preferred

2+ years experience in construction trades

1 year supervisory/instructional experience
