Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation in North Carolina seeks a Work Week Manager (Lead Work Management Specialist) to lead the development and implementation of integrated risk-based schedules for online preventive and corrective activities across station groups, driving adherence to work management standards and site accountability.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• 6 years related work experience required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Nuclear sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops integrated schedules for station groups (OPS, MNT, Chemistry, etc.) to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
• Coordinates during preparation and execution phases to ensure activities are completed as scheduled.
• Leads multi-discipline project teams related to the Work Management Process.
• Monitors progress during preparation and execution phases to meet Work Management goals.
• Prioritizes emergent work to minimize impact on Work Management and Risk Management processes.
• Captures lessons learned and feeds them into corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Coaches and mentors other Work Management Specialists.
• Represents the site in their field of expertise.
