Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Work Management Specialist (RRE level) to handle planning, scheduling, and contract resource coordination at a single site. You’ll oversee work plans, ensure timely completion, and drive continuous improvement with minimal supervision.

Expect to lead resources, manage materials, and communicate across supervisors, equipment owners, and contractors while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 3 years minimum related work experience; or Highschool/GED with 7 years related experience.
• Experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Maximo; PI program familiarity.
• Ability to read, comprehend, inspect, calculate, count, retain and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate work activities for one site, including developing plans and schedules.
• Coordinate/communicate during preparation and execution phases of work; monitor progress and prepare reports.
• Lead, coordinate, and review activities of internal staff or contractors; ensure safe, accurate, timely completion.
