Job summary

Duke Energy in Kentucky is seeking a Work Management Specialist to plan, schedule, and coordinate resources for one site. You will develop plans that ensure materials and resources are available to execute work efficiently and safely.

You will lead daily and weekly status meetings, manage resource-loaded schedules, and collaborate with supervisors and contract staff to optimize productivity and cost effectiveness. This role emphasizes leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires respirator qualification.
• Associates degree with 3 years related experience, or Highschool/GED with 7 years related experience.
• Experience with Maximo, PI, and MS Office suite.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial data; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans that facilitate work execution and ensure materials/resources are available.
• Create and manage resource-loaded schedules; lead daily/weekly status meetings.
• Coordinate contract resources and provide field oversight and direction.
• Ensure safety, productivity, quality, and adherence to priorities; support continuous improvement.
