Duke Energy is seeking a Training Specialist for the nuclear generating fleet to develop and sustain accredited training programs that meet INPO and NRC requirements. The role focuses on delivering effective instruction, evaluating learners, and maintaining training materials across classroom, simulator and on-site settings.

You will collaborate with plant engineering, external agencies, and the Outage and Emergency Response teams, providing support for assessments and ensuring high-quality

Formación

• High School/GED and 2 years related work experience.
• Desirable: 5 years related work experience and degree.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for group instruction.
• Experience in developing and delivering training activities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide effective instruction and evaluation in classroom, simulator, lab, and on-site settings.
• Develop and maintain training materials and programs.
• Interface with plant engineering to assess training impact and gap training.
• Coordinate with INPO and NRC to ensure high quality training programs.
• Support assessments and the Outage organization during refueling outages.
• Assist Emergency Response Organization with training qualifications.
