Job summary

You will interpret complex data, oversee vendor activities, prepare technical reports, and occasionally lead cross-functional committees. ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering is required with 6+ years of relevant experience;

Qualifications

• 4 yrs. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred) from an ABET accredited program.
• Minimum 6 yrs. relevant job experience (Ideal).
• Nuclear experience preferred.
• Experience in thermal performance analysis of steam cycle components and systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and performs tasks to meet objectives.
• Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues associated with thermal performance of the Vistra nuclear units.
• Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion.
• Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Provides oversight of vendor activities such as tests and walkdowns.
• Prepare and present reports including recommendations to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in and on occasion lead special projects and committees including external organizations.
