Job summary

Vistra in Kentucky is seeking a senior Nuclear Thermal Engineer to lead thermal performance analyses of steam cycle components and coordinate related projects. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals and a track record in safety-compliant project delivery.

You will interpret complex data, oversee vendor activities, prepare technical reports, and occasionally lead cross-functional committees. ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering is required with 6+ years of relevant experience;

Qualifications

• 4 yrs. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred) from an ABET accredited program.
• Minimum 6 yrs. relevant job experience (Ideal).
• Nuclear experience preferred.
• Experience in thermal performance analysis of steam cycle components and systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and performs tasks to meet objectives.
