Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician in Oak Ridge, TN to assist with scoping, definition, creation, and implementation of engineering design documents for nuclear systems. The role involves CAD drawings, specifications, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have an AAS in Engineering Technology or related field and at least 3 years of experience, with DOE Q clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D testing of nuclear system components and equipment.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and datasheets for accuracy.
• Document activity sequences on test logs and write test reports.
• Assist in maintenance outages planning and safety reviews.
• Assemble, install, troubleshoot, and repair specialized equipment.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analyses with QA staff.
