Boston Government Services (BGS) seeks a Specialty Mechanical Engineer to support the Y12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• 10+ years’ experience in design/specification of custom mechanical equipment.
• U.S. citizen and eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create design and procurement documents for specialty equipment (glovebox systems, furnaces, high vacuum systems).
• Perform machine design calculations and analyses (FEM, structural, seismic, heat transfer).
• Lead multi-discipline teams to develop build-to-print packages and fabrication drawings.
