Job summary

You will document results in safety analysis reports and safety requirements, and assist in developing engineered or administrative controls for prevention or mitigation of postulated accidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• 20+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide nuclear safety technical support under 10 CFR 830 Subpart B and DOE standards.
• Apply hazard identification, screening, and evaluation in analyses.
• Perform accident and consequence analysis.
• Identify and develop controls for prevention/mitigation of accidents.
• Document results in safety analysis reports and technical safety requirements.
