Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, seeks a Piping Engineer to deliver full-time piping design engineering support for Cat 2 and Cat 3 facilities. You will produce design outputs, coordinate with engineering disciplines, and ensure compliance with ASME B31.3/31.1 in a nuclear regulated environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience or an MS with 10+ years, willingness to perform field walk-downs, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program plus 10+ years of experience.
• MS degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience is also acceptable.
• Must be able to do pipe stress analysis and work in a DOE/ nuclear regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide design output documentation for facility modifications (drawings, data sheets, specifications, calculations).
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and plant organizations to deliver timely design output.
