Job summary

Pow.bio, a startup based in El Segundo, CA, is looking for a Systems Engineer to develop design standards and governance for nuclear reactors. This role is pivotal in ensuring hardware meets operational requirements and is designed to Radiant standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience. The role requires working fully onsite at the El Segundo HQ, with offers of substantial equity grants and health benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in engineering design, analysis, or systems engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong understanding of the system design process including interface control and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and continuously improve design criteria for reactor core and structures.
• Confirm acceptance and qualification test campaigns.
• Guide engineers through the Radiant design process.
