Job summary

Flowserve US Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for order engineering. The role involves reviewing engineering data, 2D drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and coordinating with Flowserve departments and suppliers to meet schedules for standard and custom pump and seal orders.

You will analyze quality, cost, and delivery using lean and Six Sigma tools, and support technical discussions with customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of related design experience.

Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
5-7 years of relevant design engineering experience.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
Experience with 2D and 3D drafting and modeling is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret customer specifications.
Create complete engineering bills of materials and customer/part drawings.
Meet project milestones for engineering deliverables.
Coordinate with procurement, planning, manufacturing and suppliers to clarify project requirements.
Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with customer specifications and design requirements.
Manage multiple projects involving complex designs and oversee resources.
