F.D. Thomas is hiring Safety Technicians for a 9-12 month nuclear-site project in Oak Ridge, TN. You’ll join a safety-driven team on a 6x10 schedule with roughly 60 hours per week and day/night shifts.

This role emphasizes hands-on field safety and collaboration with project leadership to maintain a compliant work environment. Responsibilities include enforcing safety, conducting audits, and supporting analyses and PPE programs.

Qualifications

• Experience enforcing safety compliance on industrial projects.
• Ability to perform inspections, audits, and safety analyses.
• Knowledge of PPE programs and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce project safety requirements.
• Perform jobsite inspections and safety audits.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Support JSAs and task-specific safety planning.
• Maintain safety documentation and site reports.
• Provide timely safety guidance to field personnel.
