Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a Senior Manager of Regulatory Construction Oversight (Natrium) to lead regulatory construction oversight for Kemmerer Unit 1 and related supplier and QA activities. The role includes staffing, scheduling, and coordination with regulators and partner organizations to ensure timely responses to oversight issues.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in nuclear licensing/oversight, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. A BS in a nuclear field is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in nuclear field with strong experience.
• 10+ years in nuclear reactor licensing, oversight, or inspection.
• Proven ability to lead diverse technical teams and collaborate with partners.
• Excellent communicator, team oriented, and able to lead remotely.
• Experience with advanced reactor design/licensing is desirable.
• Demonstrates trust, integrity, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Regulatory Construction Oversight processes and procedures.
• Manage schedules for Kemmerer Unit 1 oversight and supplier facility assessments.
• Coordinate ongoing regulatory construction oversight activities.
• Oversee staffing, training, performance, time management, and budgeting.
• Direct construction oversight activities, inspections, and QA program oversight.
• Lead interactions with regulators at Federal, State, and local levels.
• Collaborate with design authority and engineering groups on oversight issues.
• Engage with industry groups to apply lessons learned at TerraPower.
