Job summary

TerraPower, a Bellevue, WA-based nuclear technology company, seeks a Senior Manager of Regulatory Construction Oversight (Natrium) to lead regulatory oversight for Kemmerer Unit 1 and related supplier QA activities. The role manages staffing, schedules, and inter-agency interactions across multiple sites, including Rockville, MD.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct nuclear reactor licensing, oversight management, and/or direct inspection experience.
• Strong ability to lead a diverse technical staff and collaborate with partner organizations.
• Excellent communicator; capable of directing remote team members in a matrix organization.
• Experience with advanced reactor design, licensing, and oversight is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Regulatory Construction Oversight processes and procedures.
• Plan, execute, and maintain schedules for Kemmerer Unit 1 oversight and supplier facility assessments.
• Coordinate staffing, training, performance management, and budgeting for oversight programs.
• Perform direct construction oversight activities including inspections and QA oversight.
• Lead interactions with Federal, State, and local regulators; collaborate with design authorities.
