Job summary

Duke Energy in the United States is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead reactor maintenance, refueling, fuel handling, and related equipment repairs, ensuring compliance and safety. You will plan, schedule, assign, and monitor work to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely execution by qualified personnel, including coordinating with multiple teams and traveling to outages across the nuclear fleet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of work-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads personnel performing reactor maintenance, refueling, fuel handling, and related equipment repairs.
• Plans, schedules, assigns, and monitors work to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely execution by qualified personnel.
• Coordinates with Operations, Work Control, Maintenance, Engineering, and Technical Support to resolve issues and communicate work status.
• Verifies compliance with procedures, quality assurance, post-maintenance testing, safety requirements, fatigue rules, and work-hour limits.
• Develop a safe, qualified, and engaged team through training, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Supports refueling outages across the Duke Energy nuclear fleet, including required travel.
• Maintains technical and leadership proficiency and represents the company professionally.
