Job summary

Talen Energy is seeking a Maintenance First Line Supervisor to oversee instrumentation and control, mechanical, and electrical maintenance activities at a nuclear facility. You will lead the Nuclear Maintenance Planning and Procedures group to ensure safe, cost-effective, and compliant planning execution.

You will participate in scheduling, long-range planning, and field implementation to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support outage readiness while coordinating with labor and station

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 3+ years related experience.
• Power plant experience (2+ years).
• Nuclear power plant experience (1+ year).
• On-site experience (1/4 year).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science preferred.
• 7 years nuclear/industrial experience preferred.
• Labor union relations experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise instrumentation and control, mechanical, and electrical maintenance activities.
• Lead Nuclear Maintenance Planning and Procedures group for safe, cost-effective planning.
• Provide strategic oversight of mechanical, electrical, I&C, and modification planning.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and procedure development.
• Participate in scheduling and field implementation to ensure practical planning.
• Make long-range planning decisions to improve effectiveness and reduce costs.
• Act as Maintenance Outage Manager when assigned and oversee outage readiness.
• Promote continuous improvement via benchmarking and industry involvement.
