Job summary

General Matter is seeking a meticulous Nuclear Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to safeguard operations, equipment, and processes within our nuclear fuel cycle facility. You will develop, implement, and monitor QA programs to meet regulatory and operational standards.

In this fast-paced role, you will audit supplier qualifications, collaborate with engineering and regulatory teams, and present QA metrics to management and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related technical field.
• Familiarity with NRC, DOE, ASME, and ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Proficiency in QA tools: root cause analysis, corrective actions, auditing.
• Ability to interpret QA requirements and regulatory guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA programs in line with NRC/DOE/ASME standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance.
• Oversee supplier and subcontractor QA qualifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to resolve QA issues.
• Review and approve procedures, plans, and reports for QA alignment.
• Support QA training programs for facility personnel.
• Prepare and present QA metrics and regulatory reports.
• Participate in regulatory reviews and inspections for ongoing compliance.
• Stay informed about evolving nuclear QA regulations and best practices.
