Job summary

newcleo is seeking a U.S. Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality program across advanced reactor and MOX fuel programs. You will ensure compliance with NRC, DOE, ASME, and QA-1 standards while driving continuous improvement and a strong nuclear quality culture.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, extensive QA leadership experience, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safety-critical quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Lead Auditor qualification or current/past certification through IRCA, ASQ, or equivalent recognized organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA program leadership for the U.S. QA Program and QMS per applicable codes and regulatory guides.
• Act as primary QA representative during NRC inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions.
• Oversee MOX fuel program quality requirements and supplier oversight activities.
• Establish corrective action processes, CAP/NCR, and track effectiveness of improvements.
• Coordinate document control and management across multiple newcleo Group entities.
