Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to manage the audit program under our nuclear QA system, written to ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

The role requires current NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification (or eligible within 90 days), 5+ years in nuclear QA, and hands-on experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21 and NQA-1, with a track record of

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligible within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audits.
• Auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21 and NQA-1 experience.
• ASQ CQA a plus; strong audit report writing and communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal audits and supplier audits end to end with a team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend approved-supplier-list changes and perform surveillances.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support audits.
