Job summary

Construction Material Testing in Texas seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under its nuclear QA framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will serve on projects where your records and independence define the program, maintaining qualification files and supporting external audits as needed.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience with construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage corrective actions.
