Based at the Spring facility, you will help prepare for an ASME Section III certification survey and keep certificates current. The role will apply NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21 and ASME Section III to engineering, purchasing and production, and will develop internal auditors toward Lead Auditor status, with audits hosted for customers and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in nuclear QA/QC under NQA-1.
• Auditor qualification with NQA-1 program.
• Participation in at least one NQA-1 audit.
• Experience with nonconformances and Part 21 evaluations.
• Familiarity with ASME Section III quality requirements.
• Ability to analyze data and build trend charts.

Responsibilities

• Apply NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21 and ASME Section III to engineering, purchasing, production and test activities.
• Maintain QA program across supplier through final test.
• Serve as QA point of contact for audits and inspections.
• Prepare for and sustain ASME certification surveys and keep certificates current.
• Plan and perform internal and supplier audits as a qualified NQA-1 auditor and lead when status allows.
• Review nonconformances and Part 21 evaluations and decide on deviations.
