Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in the United States is seeking an Associate Project Manager within the Nuclear Power Group to lead multidisciplinary project teams across design, engineering, and construction support.

You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and guide staff through all phases of engineering design while ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards. Occasional travel and a hybrid work schedule apply.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• 7+ years in design and analysis of nuclear facilities.
• 5+ years in project management/coordination.
• Experience in managing medium-to-large engineering projects.
• Experience serving as firm/client liaison in a lead role.
• Experience reviewing design drawings.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience mentoring and training staff engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with engineers, designers, controls and scheduling professionals.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments across project life cycle.
• Lead design phases, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Maintain safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client relations.
• Identify and control project/construction risk.
• Travel occasionally for reviews and site visits.
• Support reporting of KPIs.
