Duke Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer at Engineer III or Senior Engineer levels to maintain PRA models using fault trees, data analysis, and HRA calculations.

The role supports risk-informed decisions across nuclear sites and requires familiarity with CAFTA, Phoenix, MAAP, and HRA tools. Hybrid mobility is available after onboarding, with options to work from local nuclear sites.

Qualificações

• One year of nuclear power plant experience.
• B.S. in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and a minimum of four years of engineering experience.
• A Master’s degree in engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. degree.
• Senior level: state PE license or equivalent and additional experience requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provides risk assessment engineering/technical expertise for problems of increasing scope and complexity.
• Plans, estimates, schedules and monitors work activities to meet business goals.
• Prepares technical reports, calculations and sketches related to defined problems and analyses.
• Conducts engineering studies and manages projects with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication and maintains records.
