Job summary

ENERCON is seeking mechanical engineering interns in Kennesaw, GA and Baton Rouge, LA to join Nuclear Design Group. You will assist with design, analysis, and environmental tasks on projects related to nuclear power plants.

Ideal candidates are ABET-accredited students pursuing BS or MS in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering, with coursework in thermodynamics, statics, heat transfer, and materials. Strong communication and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an ABET-accredited school in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Preferred graduation window: December 2027 to June 2028.
• Available to start between May 2027 and June 2027.
• Solid foundation in core concepts of your major and strong communication skills.
• Able to climb stairs/ladders and travel to client sites as needed.
