Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Design Group is seeking civil/structural engineering interns to support design and assessment projects for energy facilities. You will gain hands-on experience on real-world challenges, under supervision, with opportunities to contribute to design calculations, reports, and site walkdowns.

The internship offers exposure to regulations, QA standards, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Ideal candidates are pursuing ABET-accredited programs in Civil or Structural Engineering,

Qualifications

ABET-accredited school, Civil Engineering with a structural focus or Structural Engineering preferred.
Preferred graduation window includes December 2027 to June 2028.
Start date between May 2027 and June 2027.
Preferred courses: Steel, Concrete, Structural Analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams.
Ability to problem-solve effectively.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
Must be able to navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns and work outside.
Willingness to travel for client and company projects/meetings.
