Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Design Group is offering an internship for mechanical engineering students who will contribute to reactor design, safety analysis, and environmental services. You will gain hands-on experience on projects affecting nuclear power plants and environmental remediation while working in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Relocation and onsite work at multiple offices will be involved, with a strong emphasis on learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduating with a bachelor's or master's degree from an ABET-accredited school in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Preferred graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available to start on an agreed upon date between May 2027 and June 2027.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to effectively problem solve.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
