Cardinal Health is seeking a staff pharmacist for the nuclear pharmacy segment. You will provide patient care, compound nuclear medications, and direct distribution with a team of drivers in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

The role includes inventory optimization, hiring and performance management, and coordination with external suppliers to ensure drug availability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and/or PharmD preferred.
• Valid Pharmacist’s license in the state of operation or ability to obtain one.
• Must complete at least 200 hours of academic training in a nuclear pharmacy through an accredited program.

Responsabilités

• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients as staff pharmacist, including compounding of nuclear medications.
• Assess and maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure drug availability, procuring alternatives as needed.
• Lead hiring, onboarding and performance evaluation processes for pharmacy staff.
• Manage internal workflows of nuclear pharmacy and optimize staffing and scheduling.
• Contribute to plans for lowering costs and driving profitable growth in nuclear pharmacy.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and assist in demand planning.
• Participate in administrative tasks to facilitate nuclear pharmacy operations.
