Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Senior Refuel Floor Specialist (Project Manager) to direct and oversee BWR Refuel Floor outages, including Reactor Disassembly, Reassembly, and In Vessel Maintenance.

You will manage all project phases from ITO through OTR and serve as the primary GVH representative for scope delivery. The role requires leading diverse teams, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with nuclear safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires B.S. in an engineering discipline with 8 years of BWR Refuel Floor outage maintenance experience or a high school diploma with 10 years of experience.
• Experience as Refuel Floor Lead Technical Director, Refuel Floor Project Manager, Outage Manager, or equivalent in Refuel Outage maintenance.
• Experience in Project Management and coordinating cross‑functional outage activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for Refuel Floor tasks and ownership of outage scope.
• Manage all aspects of Refuel Floor projects from ITO through OTR, including communications, risk, and forecasting.
• Provide project delivery planning leadership: transition planning, risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning.
• Lead and coach multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams including GVH and contingent staff.
• Supervise union and non‑union personnel on Refuel Floor outage work.
• Support commercial proposals with input on labor, tooling, and logistics.
• Interact with senior management on commercial, execution, technical, and compliance issues.
• Support Product Line activities including proposal development and training delivery.
• Provide SME on reactor maintenance and GVH OEM equipment usage.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables per customer requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Drive GVH process consistency across projects.
