Job summary

Constellation, in partnership with Calpine, is seeking a seasoned outage planning leader to direct detailed unit outage schedules and ensure compliance with technical specifications and ALARA safety standards. This on-site role requires coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, maintenance, and operations to deliver outages on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree with 8 years nuclear plant experience, incl. 3+ years in engineering, maintenance, or operations.
• Senior Reactor Operator license with 8 years nuclear experience, incl. 3 years in engineering/maintenance/ops.
• Associate's degree with 10 years nuclear plant experience incl. 3 years in relevant fields.
• High school diploma with 12 years nuclear plant experience incl. 3 years in relevant fields.
• Maintain minimum access/unescorted access and pass medical/exams as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate outage schedules ensuring compliance with technical specifications and ALARA.
• Oversee horizontal schedule reviews and vertical slice reviews.
• Guide planners, schedulers, and teams in outage plan execution.
• Lead the Shutdown Safety Program development and implementation.
• Coordinate outage risk screening and readiness materials for leadership meetings.
• Conduct gap analyses and lessons-learned reviews.
