Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical therapy administration with Nuc Med and PET/CT systems. You will review orders, assess patient history, and ensure accurate imaging and labeling for Radiologist interpretation.

Role emphasizes patient flow management, quality imaging, cross-training, and adherence to safety, with opportunities to lead in absence of the Nuc Med Lead or Imaging Coordinator.

Qualifications

Licensed radiologic technologist with CNMT and state license or eligibility.
Familiarity with radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine procedures.
Knowledge of PACS/RIS and imaging workflow.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic studies and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocols.
Review orders and patient history to validate medical necessity.
Ensure image quality and appropriate positioning for interpretation.
Transfer and verify images in PACS; support Radiologists with case info.
Maintain equipment, supply inventory, and safe work environment.
