Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and administer radiopharmaceuticals using Nuc Med and PET/CT systems. You will review orders, verify patient history for medical necessity and help prepare imaging reports for Radiologists.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and supply levels, ensuring patient safety, and supporting teaching for students or new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA)
• CNMT within 1 year - NMTCB
• Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) within 1 year
• BLS within 30 days - AHA

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical therapy administration using Nuc Med and/or PET/CT equipment.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and provides history for Radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains imaging equipment and work area; reports malfunctions.
• Ensures safety for patients, staff and environment; follows compliance and record-keeping procedures.
